Tiberias Vacation: Day One
Day one in Tiberias. I am enjoying it so far. Right now, I am back in my hotel in Tiberias after a long, tiring, yet absolutely fun day. I went to the Hamat Tiberias National Park. It was absolutely grand! It is an opulent synagogue and it has ancient medieval baths. The trail or hike or tour is so easy, anyone could have done it. In fact, our guide repeatedly said it is suitable for all visitors. I was particularly amazed by the mosaic floor, which was the earliest synagogue mosaic in Israel. It was definitely the highlight of the place.
