I got it all confused
Apparently I never made myself clear to the girl down at the mobile phone office. I told her I wanted to buy a new phone and she had to give me a number to allow me to do it. But she did not give me the right thing, it looked like a phone number to me and when I called back after they salesman said it would not work she said she had assigned me a whole new phone number. So now I knew it was called a Pac code and now she switched it back and gave me what I needed in the first place. It was all my fault.
