Being a Part of the Gang
I would feel more comfortable about letting my son go the lake with friends if he had more experience around water. I could tell that this was really having a impact on him socially. So, I decided to hire an instructor who could teach him all of the basics about being around water safely. This has made my son happy knowing that he could now have fun with his friends. He has made accomplishments beyond my expectations. Besides being able to swim, he can also dive from the side of the pool. I always stress to him that safety should always come first.
