Acrobat and digital signatures
I just read an interesting article that talks about some of the neat features of Acrobat (the non-free version) that allows the user to affix a digital signature to a document within the program. I honestly didn’t know that Acrobat had this capability. The author also talks about how you can “stamp” an area of a document with certain words such as “Confidential, Not Approved, Not For Public Release” and “Completed,” just like an electronic rubber stamp. How neat is that? I thought it would be pretty handy, considering the amount of paper most companies have to generate with signing contracts and other documents.
