Moms Always Have A Backup Plan
I got my daughter Carrie a Blackberry for her 18th birthday. Since she was going off to college in the fall, I wanted her to be able to message me if she ever needed something, and I wanted to be able to easily communicate her when I need to. Before she left for college, she came up and said, “I’m sorry, Mom, but i forgot my blackberry email username. I didn’t want you to know because I was afraid you were going to get mad, but I was scared to go away without knowing I could email you anytime”. Luckily, I knew how forgetful my daughter was and made a few precautions. I went to my dresser drawer and took out a piece of paper and gave it to Carrie. Written on it was her Blackberry email address and password. Carrie laughed and threw her arms around me. “Thanks, Mom! You’re the best!” she said.
