Handcrafted clothes – not just for hippies

When I hear the words ‘handcrafted clothes’, the idea of market bazaars and market stalls comes to my mind, so it was a nice surprise for me when I heard that Oliver Spencer, a high-end British fashion designer for men, handcrafts all its clothes. I have very strong ethics, and I always like to choose clothes that I know have been made within fair-trade standards, and also that the clothes are of a high quality, so I know that they will last me a good while. However, even though I have the ethics of a hippy, I don’t dress like one, and it annoys me that most of the clothes available in this section are all tie-dyed or heavily patterned. I honestly think it puts a lot of people off buying ethical clothes. If you are interested in fair trade clothes but feel the same as me, then why not check out Oliver Spencer at www.oliverspencer.co.uk.
