The Office Environment Without a Water Cooler?
Perhaps the most recognized icon of the office environment is that of the water cooler. It’s much more than keeping your employers hydrated and free from getting dehydrated. It become symbolic of employees getting together and perhaps bashing coworkers, barking about a new policy or even bantering on about a boss. Now, some driven and career path motivated employees, may stop by the waterhole just to replenish their empty cup, but more perhaps use it as a mental break. A means to get up, walk around, and perhaps talk to someone about something other than their day-to-day work. They may be particular proud of a home improvement or their child’s holiday recital. Either way, it doesn’t matter, it’s a nice break, and a healthy one too.
