Rock on with Classical Piano
I want to learn to play the piano so I can play keyboards in a band. I bought a pretty good electronic keyboard for a couple hundred bucks, and tried playing it at home. It’s hard! There are lots of keys, and a million chords to learn, and you need to be able to read both the treble clef and the bass clef at the same time to play sheet music. I’m going to have to take some lessons, but the guy at the music store wants me to learn all this Classical Piano music first. It really does sound great when he plays it, but I’m not sure I want to learn to play that way.
