My Kids Are Getting Older – What To Do
Now that my kids are getting older, we have a whole new set of issues to contend with. It used to be cold remedies and Band-Aids. Now it’s the best acne treatments. Seriously, they seem to spend hours at the drugstore poring over the details of skin care products. Stridex, Clearasil. Pads vs. cream? Ointment vs. cleansers? Which soap? Which cover-up? It’s hard, as a parent far removed from these concerns, to give them advice about the best treatments. I’ve suggested washing their faces every morning and afternoon, but that doesn’t seem to be impressive advice to 14 and 16 year olds. Oh well.
