Weber Grills and Buoy’s

The other day I was reading the store of Weber Grills. Not real sure how I got on to that subject, but it was very interesting nonetheless. Weber grills came from a man that welded buoy’s for the coast guard. It was from this that he got his inspiration to create the grill. He would use the bottom half of a bouy for cooking and the top half would be the lid. It is amazing where ideas come from and always interesting to see how they come about. Who would have ever thought a buoy made for the water would be what inspired a great brand for grills.
